First Ultra and loved it, really well organised and fully marked out
I can not rate this event by Run Walk Crawl enough. Yes it was hard but I never thought a course through the Welsh forests and mountains could be so well signposted. Despite being super prepared with the route being on my watch and phone I never needed it as a backup.
Super well organised and fully stocked checkpoints along with supportive and happy (it wasn't raining!!) marshals along the way.
Will 100% be doing this route again and will look at other events they offer.

So friendly and well organised pre Christmas race.
I love this race to end the year on. Very well organised, great Marshalls. Everyone is happy to help. Lovely Christmassy atmosphere in the Resolven club. I’ve run this race 3 years on the trot and caught the coach provided too. Either way everything runs very smoothly. Open to all abilities of running walking. Generous cut off times too. I have entered around 5/6 races with the company and they are definitely my fave.

Windmills, trees, trails and snacks. Oh and some hills
Great race that was really well organised. The course was checked after last week's storm brought a few trees down and a diversion put in place around the worst section.
All the checkpoints were stocked with snacks and warm smiles!
The route was great lots of big climbs and some technical descents. I put this was good for beginners but I'd recommend doing some shorter races over this sort of terrain first as it does take it's toll on the legs.

Brutal but beautiful
Really enjoyed, great route (brutal uphills) . But I’ve ran it 3 times so it can’t be that bad . The views are amazing and everyone is so friendly.

Ultra was amazing but tough
Not sure what the half is like. After doing the marathon last year and the ultra this year you really get value for money as they are tough events. Excellent checkpoints and the volunteers were superb. I would say it's a tough challenge for anyone let alone a beginner. Great day out in the hills ⛰️ well done Run Walk Crawl
