Tough terrain but stunning scenery in places.
This was my first ultra and I’d probably underestimated how demanding it would be. Great support from other participants kept me moving forward and I finished not far off my planned time. Great event

A hilly race, probably not for beginners but no pressure for a fast finish due to the very generous time cut offs. Would definitely do it again!

Great event. Well market route. Volunteers at CPs were great and helpful. The venue was great with ample parking, decent big warm cafe and lot of toilets esp for females! I really enjoyed the event.

Very well organised event!
Always a great event! Even with the amount of felled trees due to storm Darragh. They were fully highlighted and diversions were put in plat for ones which were too large. Great checkpoints and very friendly staff as always.

My First Half Marathon - what an adventure!
Firstly chapeau to the Race Director and his incredible army of volunteers.!!!! What an incredible introduction to trail running - it’s ethos ‘run, walk, crawl’ inspired me to give it a go, knowing I had the comfort blanket of being tracked and supported throughout.!!! Fellow runners were so kind with their encouragement along the way. Scenery was spectacular- but then this is Wales, God’s country. Finishing was emotional, but I haven’t stopped beaming since.! Thank you so much for the opportunity.!!!
